When myself and Nicola set up Glen Mitchell Photography, to provide stylish and modern wedding photography in the Cotswolds and throughout the UK, it was with two core values in mind.
1. To photograph people and make them look and feel great.
2. To provide our clients with artistic memories beautifully displayed for them to treasure.
One of the most important times of a persons life is their wedding day and as a result we love our vocation as wedding photographers, as it gives us the chance to tell the story of these special days through our wedding photography.
We find that every wedding we photograph has its own special atmosphere and that is what Nicki and myself capture on the day. It is about recording not just how you look but how you feel that is important to us.
We want you to be comfortable with us long before your wedding day and as a result we value getting to know our couples before the day itself. Nicki and I take the time to find out what you want from your wedding photography through as many consultations as you require. We also include a complimentary pre-wedding shoot for all our couples. This is a fun and friendly session designed for us to get to know each other “camera in hand” before the big day and to also provide you with some great images in a relaxed setting.
One of my favorite moments with our brides and grooms comes during the viewing, when we show you the images from the day. You get the opportunity to relive your wedding again for the first time and select which photographs from your wedding you would like to tell the story of your day in one of our exclusive albums. Seeing the heartfelt reactions of our couples at this moment is what makes this such a great profession to be in and makes us very proud to call ourselves wedding photographers.
Once you have selected your images Nicola then produces your album layout, creating an individual design for each couple. This is where she takes that extra special care and attention in creating something that is unique to you.
